It has been really cold up here recently - below zero degrees F at times, but as long as the chickens are in their pen (it's wrapped in plastic) they're fine. As long as I remember to go every day or two and break the ice out of their water dish and give them fresh food and water. The fresh eggs are a bonus, although they are not laying as consistently right now because I am not visiting every single morning like clockwork. I miss the ducks. He had some a couple of years ago.
